Galvanized trench covers are steel grating panels used over drainage channels, then hot dip or electro galvanized to resist rust. They are common in outdoor municipal projects, coastal areas, and chemical plants.

We start with Galvanized Trench Covers made from load‑bearing bars and cross rods. The material is typically low‑carbon steel (grade Q235) or, for extra strength, HRB400E. After welding, the whole panel goes through galvanizing – either hot‑dip (thicker zinc layer, better for outdoors) or electro‑galvanizing (smoother finish, for indoor or light duty). The zinc coating protects against acid, alkali, and salt spray, so the covers last much longer than plain black steel. A city park in Zhoushan, right on the coast, replaced their uncoated covers every two years because of rust. With our hot‑dip galvanized covers, they have not changed any in five years.
