Installation Steps for SNS Flexible Slope Protection Nets: Based on the design specifications and the actual terrain conditions at the site, survey and mark the precise locations for the steel columns and anchor foundations. The field layout length-measured via line staking-should exceed the designed system length by approximately 3% to 8%. The upper limit (8%) should be applied in cases of significant terrain undulation where it is difficult to align the system in a straight line along a single contour; conversely, the lower limit (3%) should be applied where the terrain is relatively flat and regular, allowing the system to be aligned essentially in a straight line along a single contour. Based on this layout, the spacing between columns may be adjusted-shortened or widened-within a tolerance range of ±20% of the designed column spacing.
Foundation Pit Excavation: In areas with a thin overburden layer-where excavation reaches the bedrock before attaining the designed foundation depth-anchor holes should be drilled directly into the bedrock at the designated anchor locations within the pit. The upper concrete foundation is then poured only after the anchors have been inserted into the bedrock and grouted in place.
Embedding Anchors and Pouring Foundation Concrete: (For rock-based foundations, steps 2 and 3-drilling anchor holes and installing anchors-should precede the concrete pour; for concrete-based foundations, the anchor holes may be drilled and the anchors installed after the foundation concrete has been poured.)
Base Plate Installation: Fit the base plate over the anchor bolts and secure it firmly using nuts.
Installation of Steel Columns and Upper Anchor Ropes.
Installation of Side Anchor Ropes: The installation method is identical to that for the upper anchor ropes, but this step is performed only after the upper anchor ropes have been successfully installed.
